P.S.: As I wrote all about date sugar and date syrup in my other e-mail today, it seemed appropriate to finally share this cookie recipe I’ve been working on. It’s adapted from my “Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Ever,” and it’s made with gluten-free whole grains, date sugar and maple syrup, and other ingredients that make it extra-special.

RECIPE: MY BEST VEGAN CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIES
Yield: 14 cookies
Active time: 35 minutes
Total time: 2 1/2 hours
To keep with the date them, you can use date-sweetened chocolate (Just Date makes chocolate chips and Spring & Mulberry makes bars). But feel free to use any good semisweet chocolate (I prefer 72%).
